No fluff. Just what you need to know.
How much space does the booth need?
For the StudioBooth, allow a clear area of approximately 2.7m × 2.7m. The RetroBooth needs roughly 2m × 2m and step-free access. Both require a standard power point within 10 metres. Download our setup guides here:
Can the booth be set up outside?
Yes! Outdoor setups are possible provided the booth is on a firm, level surface and positioned out of direct sunlight during daylight hours. If a backdrop is being used, it will need to be securely fixed to a wall or other stable structure. If there’s a chance of rain, we’ll also need a suitable undercover backup location.
Can everything be ready before guests arrive?
Absolutely. Setup and pack-down do not come out of your operating hire time. When the booth needs to sit ready before it begins operating, Early setup can be added at $50 per hour.
Are props included?
Props are optional rather than included automatically. This gives you the choice of a clean, prop-free look or a full prop station for an additional $100.
Can we customise the photo strip?
Yes! Your design is created to suit your event and can include your names, date, colours, logo or styling references. You will receive a proof to approve before the day.
Can we add a booth to our photography booking?
Yes — subject to availability. Photo booth hire receives a 10% bundled saving when added to a Studio Galea wedding photography collection.
